Covid: German 3G rule applies (vaccinated, recovered, tested)

A valid EFC licence is required.
A valid DFB fencing pass is a starting requirement for German fencers. Adolescents under the age of 18 need a health certificate (not older than 365 days).

Referees must be provided based on the total entries per day.

The referees activity is not paid by the organizer.

For the German clubs a deviating referee regulation applies:
3 starter no referee
4 - 7 starter 1 referee
8 and more starters 2 referees.

The referees officiating circuit should have DFB CN licence and an annual license, good national or international level qualification and be aged minimum 18 and less than 60.

Criteria for initial ranking of fencers
1. FIE senior ranking (only those having points)
2. FIE U20 ranking 1-64
3. EFC U23 circuit ranking
4. DFB senior ranking

One round of pools followed by a direkt elemination

Rules and legal

The competition is held on the basis of the rules and regulations of the FIE and the EFC.

Liability

Organizer assume no liability. All participants are responsible for the personal equipment.

Jurisdiction

The participants submit to the jurisdiction of the FIE, EFC and the relevant national federation.

Anti Doping

Doping controls will be carried out.
The DFB / Organiser is not liable for damages resulting from incorrect performance of doping tests, unless the DFB / Organiser is proven to have acted with intent or gross negligence.

Image / TV rights

The participants and their legal representatives declare that they agree to a publication of their names, clubs and year of birth as the as the competition data.. The fencer / legal representative declares his consent to the production, distribution and display of images, sound and film during the competitions. This consent is free of charge, has unlimited territorial and temporal validity and applies to the right to the image as well as the general right of personality. It includes all media, but in particular the right to reproduce recordings in print, TV shows and the Internet. There is the possibility, but no obligation, to give the name.

Medical

A doctor is present in the competition site.
Only doctors are entitled according to the international statutes to grant medical breaks during the fights.

All participants are required to check prior to the event to see if any more extensive EFC or state regulations have not been implemented.

Remarks

Covid rules will have to be followed, otherwise an exclusion from the competition is possible.

UPDATE 3.11.2021:
Because of rising numbers, the state of Baden-Württemberg changed the corona-rules:

Access to the competition site will only be granted to persons who...
- have received their second vaccination (with Johnson & Johnson only one vaccination required) at least 14 days before the start of the event; only vaccinations with vaccines approved in the EU will be recognised (e.g. not Sputnik V or Sinovac) OR
- have recovered from a proven COVID-19 infection, provided the infection did not occur more than six months ago - if the infection occurred more than six months ago, they must provide evidence of a single vaccination OR
- have a negative PCR test for corona virus no more than 48 hours old. For asymptomatic persons who have not yet reached the age of 18 or who cannot be vaccinated for medical reasons or for whom there is no vaccination recommendation by the Permanent Commission on Vaccination, a negative antigen test proof, which must not be older than 24 hours, is sufficient instead of a PCR test proof. According to the DFB (German Fencing Association) hygiene concept, pupils must also present a test. The relevant time is the start of the tournament as stated in the announcement.

Please have the following documents ready for registration:
- Proof of vaccination / proof of recovery / PCR test (preferably with QR code)
- LUCA app for registration (QR codes in the entrance area)
- For German fencers: Fencing passport
- For U23 (women individual competition): signed EFC document (https://www.eurofencing.info/getFile/case:show/id:481654 Appendix I)
- Entry fee in the amount of 25 Euro (ind.) / 36 Euro (Team), if possible suitable

Please allow more time than usual for the registration procedure. Masks will be compulsory all day in the hall outside the bouts!
