Quota

A valid EFC licence is required.
A valid DFB fencing pass is a starting requirement for German fencers. Adolescents under the age of 18 need a health certificate (not older than 365 days).

Referees must be provided based on the total entries per day.

The referees activity is not paid by the organizer.

We expect an adequate appearance:
    - Trouser suit or skirt
    - Suit and tie

The referees officiating at EFC U17 Circuit should have DFB CN licence and an annual licence, good national or international level qualification and be aged minimum 18 and less than 60.

For the German clubs a deviating referee regulation applies:
3 starter no referee
4 - 7 starter 1 referee
8 and more starters 2 referees.

Format

The rounds will be published the day before the tournament.
All fencers will go to their assigned piste 10 minutes prior the start of the competition.

Individual: one round with pools followed by direct elimination table without repechage
Team: direct elemination table; last 16 teams fence for all places

Rules and legal

The competition is held on the basis of the rules and regulations of the FIE and the EFC.

Liability

Organizer assume no liability. All participants are responsible for the personal equipment.

Jurisdiction

The participants submit to the jurisdiction of the FIE, EFC and the relevant national federation.

Anti Doping

Doping controls will be carried out.
The DFB / Organiser is not liable for damages resulting from incorrect performance of doping tests, unless the DFB / Organiser is proven to have acted with intent or gross negligence.

Image / TV rights

The participants and their legal representatives declare that they agree to a publication of their names, clubs and year of birth as the as the competition data.. The fencer / legal representative declares his consent to the production, distribution and display of images, sound and film during the competitions. This consent is free of charge, has unlimited territorial and temporal validity and applies to the right to the image as well as the general right of personality. It includes all media, but in particular the right to reproduce recordings in print, TV shows and the Internet. There is the possibility, but no obligation, to give the name.

Medical

A doctor is present in the competition site.
Only doctors are entitled according to the international statutes to grant medical breaks during the fights.

All participants are required to check prior to the event to see if any more extensive EFC or state regulations have not been implemented.
