22 Championships of Marburg 2024

A valid DFB fencing pass is a starting requirement for German fencers. Adolescents under the age of 18 need a health certificate (not older than 365 days). Certificates issued on the day of the tournament will not be accepted.

Referees must be provided based on the total entries per day. They need to be distributed proportional to the entries of this day. They must be qualified judging disciplines proportionally to the entries for this discipline.

The required number of qualified referees must be entered into the inscription system before athletes can be added to the competition.

The referees activity is not paid by the organizer.

The FIE regulations and the competition regulations of the Hessischer Fechterverband e.V. apply.

Organizer assume no liability. All participants are for responsible for the personal equipment.

The participants submit to the jurisdiction of the Hessischer Fechterverband e.V.

The participants and their legal representatives declare that they agree to a publication of their names, clubs and year of birth as the as the competition data.. The fencer / legal representative declares his consent to the production, distribution and display of images, sound and film during the competitions. This consent is free of charge, has unlimited territorial and temporal validity and applies to the right to the image as well as the general right of personality. It includes all media, but in particular the right to reproduce recordings in print, TV shows and the Internet. There is the possibility, but no obligation, to give the name.

U9 fencers are allowed to enter the U11 competition. Inscription needs to be sent via email.
Referees to be named with the inscription,
Entering the fencing hall is only permitted when wearing indoor sport shoes.
Seniors and Veterans may have to be their own referees.
Men and women (or different age groups) may fence together, if there aren't enough fencers in one category, but will be separated for winner's ceremony.
The local Covid-19-restrictions must be obeyed. Therefore, changes within the hygiene concept and access restriction can be possible. Please check the invitation regularly on changes and updates.

Only athletes, referees and coaches should enter the competition area.
Furthermore, the results will not be displayed on screens or paper on site, but will be uploaded immediately to hfev.org/live and can be seen there.
