Format

O.15. Ranking Initial ranking must be based on the current position in Swedish ranking. Participants not included in this ranking are ranked by the last participant with ranking points in a group in a random order. O.16. Competition Formula 1. The competition is to be conducted in accordance with the competition formula for the Swedish Seniors Championships (see O.8.), Alternatively according to the "Nordic Formula" or "Modified Nordic Formula". O.17. Nordic Formula 1. The Nordic Formula is a mixed formula to be performed during a day with two rounds of pools and then elimination direct. 2. The first round is performed with 5-6 or 6-7 fencers in each pool. In the first round no fencer shall be eliminated. 3. Ranking for second round is scored after victorys and index. 4. The second round is performed with 5-6 or 6-7 fencers in each pool. 20-30% of the fencers are eliminated based on victorys and index, calculated on the basis of both pool rounds. O.18. Modified Nordic Formula 1. Modified Nordic Formula is a mixed formula to be performed during a day with one or two rounds of pool and then elimination direct. 2. The first round of pools is not mandatory. It is performed with 5-6 or 6-7 fighters in each pool. In the first round no fencer shall be eliminated. 3. Ranking for second round is scored after victorys and index. 4. The second round is performed with 6-7 fencers in each pool. 0-30% of the fencers are eliminated based on victorys and index, calculated on the basis of both pools rounds (if two rounds were completed).

Rules and legal

In Swedish fencing competitions, the International Fencing Federation (FIE) regulations and other statutes apply with amendments and additions according to SvFF competition rules.

Jurisdiction

All participants are responsible for their own equipment.

Medical

A healthcare professional (trained in first aid, cardiovascular/pulmonary rescue and sports injuries) must be present at the competition venue. A special place for the competition's medical care function should be visible to all participants and clearly shown.
