Format

The tournament will use FIE Rules for Competition for Satellite events with one round of pools followed by direct elimination.

Equipment

FIE and EFC rules are followed for masks, jackets, breeches and plastrons — regular blades.

EQUIPMENT CONTROL
Equipment checked is mask, glove and plastron. Equipment is reviewed on the piste by the referees.

Awards

The finalists will receive prizes. The finalists must appear
at the medals ceremony in an official tracksuit. The award ceremony is scheduled to start at 19.00.

Remarks

All fencers, coaches, and referees must have an EFC license and be entered by their respective National Federation, respecting the above-mentioned deadline policy.

To facilitate competition organisation, all inscriptions must be made through the EFC website by 6.10.2024. Referees must also be entered the same way within the deadline. Pre-entry for Finnish fencers is open in the Ophardt system until 20.9.2024. Registration of a referee through the EFC service portal is mandatory. It is not allowed to register a referee at the venue. If a referee is not provided when needed, it will result in a 500 € fine.

MEDICAL
Medical service is provided at the venue.

FENCERS FROM RUSSIA OR BELARUS
Fencers from Russia or Belarus are not allowed to participate, as decided by the Finnish Fencing and Pentathlon Federation.

SCHEDULE
The final competition timetable will be published after the entry has ended.
