Preliminary:
U13: Grand poule + DE
U15, U17, JUN: 2 rounds of poules + DE
SEN: 1 round of poules (20-30% out) + DE

Women and men compete separately as much as possible.

Upsala Fäktning reserves the right to change the competition formula according to the number of starts.

In Swedish fencing competitions, the International Fencing Federation (FIE) regulations and other statutes apply with amendments and additions according to SvFF competition rules.

All participants are responsible for their own equipment.

A healthcare professional (trained in first aid, cardiovascular/pulmonary rescue and sports injuries) must be present at the competition venue. A special place for the competition's medical care function should be visible to all participants and clearly shown.

The fee is composed of an entry fee (300/350 SEK) and a fee for the referees (500 SEK).

Code of Conduct (CoC) for the competition
Swedish Fencing's Code of Conduct is applicable for all competitions in Sweden. https://fencing.se/foreningsledare/trygg-faktning/i-forening-och-pa-pa-tavling/

To register for the competition is to accept this and agreeing to comply with the rules below.

• We have zero tolerance for all kinds of victimization.
• Be a role model:
o Apply appropriate behavior and language.
o Cheer inbetween hits, not during fencing.
o Acknowledge both the fencers' effort and performance.
• Coaching is not allowed during or inbetween hits in the poule or DE-matches. This includes, but is not limited to, all technical and tactical guidance, as well as hand signals.
• Only active fencers, referees and officials are allowed inside the piste area.
• Accreditated coaches sit on the assigned coaches' chairs during DE.
• Respect the referee's decisions. Keep your thoughts to yourself.
• Dressing rooms:
o Use the dressing rooms to change into and from fencing clothes.
o Wear appropriate clothes in all of the arena when not in fencing clothes.
o Only fencers use the dressing rooms (some officials have access).

If someone does not comply with the CoC, they will be asked to correct their behaviour and can be told to leave the arena. In serious cases a police report will be made on scene. All violations of the CoC will be reported for further assessment.
